All,
I have banded together with a few others from work to raise money for Leukaemia research by entering the world’s greatest shave.
As a result I will be having my head shaved (to at least a number 1 and if I raise enough I might even go the razor to be a complete nude nut). I am personally hoping to raise $1000 so please sponsor me by visiting the attached page and making your donation. If I get over $1000 I will have the smooth finish!

Thanks for your support

It is with sadness that we advise members that Bill De La Garde has passed away after a long illness.
Bill was one of a number of residents involved in developing a number of initiatives in the young suburb of Bonnet Bay. When the soccer club was formed in 1982 he became BBFC’s 1st President and continued in that role for 1983 and 1984.
Bill’s sons Corey and Darren played in our first 2 grand final teams in 1982 which were both runners up and played for BBFC for 4 years in all. Bill’s funerla will be held on Friday 27 January 2012 at 12.30 at Woronora Crematorium (see Tuesday’s Leader for more details).
On behalf of all club members we pass on our sincere condolences to all Bill’s family members and our gratitude for his major contribution to starting the club we all enjoy so much.
BBFC’s 1st President Bill De La Garde at top right in blue jacket coached the 9Es who played in the club’s first grand final. Bill’s son Corey is holding the sign.
Refer to Club History on this site for more details from this era.

A big thanks to the ten or so guys from 35Fs who turned up today to level off the surrounds around the new cricket pitch at Prince Edward Park. There was also one guy from the 45Cs -would have been more but they were all visiting their doctors for a variety of ailments. Every BBFC player will benefit from the much improved conditions for training and playing.
Installation of the new all seasons cricket pitch was funded jointly by BBFC and Sutherland Shire Junior Cricket Association with support from Sutehrland Shire Council. It is hoped this mutually beneficial inititaive will pave the way for other similar installations at a number of other fields across the shire.
Volunteers are needed to join the watering roster over the next couple of months - info@bonnetbayfc.com .
There will be more chances for members to volunteer some time over the next few weeks so please help out so we can have everything in top shape for teh season opener.
