4. The Uniform

“The Colours”

The initial uniform was a shirt entirely in the green with blue collar and blue piping on the sleeves. This uniform served us well but in 1999 a new strip was introduced after much work by the then Uniform Co-ordinators Moira Kornie and Patricia Baker. The new uniform was received enthusiastically by all and continues to be most popular to this day.

This served us will until 2010 when BBFC reverted to a modern version of its initial strip. There is no more distinctive uniform than Bonnet Bay’s with its f fluorescent lime green and royal blue. It comes into its own on a dull day when it stands out like a beacon.

Importantly people that play for “The Bay” are proud of “The Colours” and what they have come to stand for.
