2019 Regos Are Open
Plans for the 2019 season are well advanced and we encourage all members to start registering now. It might take a little while to get used to the new rego system but we’re confident it will be a major improvement for all. You can find all the info you need by clicking on the following link:
Happy New Year Everyone. We are pleased to advise that regos for 2019 are now open.
Welcome to the Bonnet Bay FC’s 2019 Season. Last season we were honoured to be named Best Community Sports Club by Sports NSW. 2019 promises to be even better.
NEW PLAYERS WELCOME
Over the past few seasons we have seen strong growth in our junior numbers which is now seeing our older age groups get stronger. We encourage everyone to keep working with us to improve this section of the club. We also invite players to bolster all our older age groups. We’d love to see some more mum’s and dads join our womens over 30 & 37 or the mens over 35 & 45.
For 2019 we have engaged well qualified technical directors to support our coaches and players from 8s through to 16s on training nights throughout the season.
We are also very excited to announce that we have engaged the Sutherland Shire Football Association Academy to conduct further keenly-priced programs designed for under 8s to under 13s on Friday nights throughout the season and during the April and July School Holidays.
BBFC increased its commitment to our Women’s programs on and off the field with the appointment of Carla Richardson as Women’s Co-ordinator. A new Women’s Committee has been formed and it is exciting that we will be running our first ever Womens Summer Football Comp over 6 Wednesday nights from 6 February 2019. Details at www.bonnetbayfc.com.
Rego fees have increased a little this season but this is mostly to cover increases in levies by Football Australia, Football NSW and our local association. An analysis of the club component of our rego fees show that they have increased by an average of just $1 per year over the past 9 seasons. These costs cover Referees Fees, Association Match Fees, Player Development, Equipment, Field Maintenance and Staff to carry out BBQ and Canteen duties. In this time the club has also delivered many improvements for the benefit of members including our clubhouse, new uniforms, player development activities, field upgrades and much more.
Rego Fees are based on the age each player turns during this calendar year. There is a separate question in rego system to nominate the preferred team.
6 to 7 – $130; 8 to 9 – $160; 10 & 11 – $170 ; 12 to 17 – $190; 18 – $220; 19 to 21 – $295; Over 21 – $320
To achieve this is possible because of the support of our sponsors, government grants etc. We also conservatively estimate that the time our committee, coaches, managers and other volunteers give to the club is worth over $250,000. We encourage all members to commit some time to help share the load. You will be asked a question about this in the rego process.
Rego sessions will be held at The Hangar. Lakewood City Reserve, Bonnet Bay on:
…Thursday 31/1/19 – 6pm to 8pm;
…Sunday 3/2/19 – 2 pm to 4pm;
…Sunday 10/2/19 – 2 pm to 4pm
