Social & Community

BBFC is registered with the Good Sports Program

Social Events a Special Part of BBFC

BBFC encourages all members to get involved in the club’s social events which will be bigger and better than ever in 2012. This is one of the things that really set us apart from other clubs so please get involved in the Bomberaderie. We’ll be holding:

        Annual Golf Day

Mid Season Fundraiser – let’s make our new clubhouse a reality

        Open Mike Night

        Sundays at The Bay

        Junior Presentation Days

        Senior Presentation Dinner

The Lime Army throughout the Finals Series leading to Grand Final Night

Stay tuned to this page for updates on all of the above events.

The social committee appreciates any new ideas of how we can continue to bring BBFC members together through social vents. We aim to include all age groups across the club and encourage all members to get involved in these events to make new friends while supporting the clubs growth and development.

If you have a social event idea or would like to help in organising an event please contact Sarah Burgess on sburgess85@gmail.com. We welcome any extra assistance as many hands make for small jobs.

The Bay & the Community

Just as important as the enjoyment the club provides its members is our contribution back to the community.

BBFC encourages its members to support the community in many ways including volunteering to help the club, promoting local events, supporting local community groups etc. In the past the club has raised funds for  numerous causes.

In 2011 20 of our members volunteered to help the Sutherland Titans FC which provides the opportunity for people with a disability to particpate in mainstream sports. This work will be ongoing.

Club Chaplain

Another Important part of our community work is Club Chaplaincy through Brett White, one our over 35 players. Brett is happy to provide confidential support to club members with any personal problem – contact Brett on brett@kingsway.org.au .
