1982 – 1986

Bonnet Bay Soccer Club registered its first teams in 1982 playing at their home ground in Coolidge Crescent on the water’s edge.

The teams were 6E, 6F, 7F, 7H & 8G in the non-competitive roo-ball and only two competition teams – the 9Es and 11Fs.

The Bombers enjoyed immediate success with both competition teams being runners up in the grand final. In the case of the 9E they were also Minor Premiers and received the Association’s Most Improved Team Award for their grade. The 63 players went on to accumulate 381 years service with the club.
