Follow these steps to complete your online registration:
ALL PLAYERS (i.e. returning or new) should register online following the steps below. You will receive further information during the registration process

Apply for $50 ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER
Apply for an ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER BEFORE you start your online football registration – you will be asked for it during the online process & it will reduce your overall payment.
($50 rebate available to students attending Kindergarten to Year 12 at any NSW public or private school). This is easiest claimed when registering.

Link Family Accounts
If registering for a few people you may save time by LINKING accounts for family members (eg kids). A parent will need to have their own account to do this – set up a non-playing account if needed.

Take a profile photo (via phone)
Get ID photos ready for upload if needed. The following players will need to upload a passport-style photo during the rego process. Suggest taking a photo on your phone before you start the rego process.
- ALL RETURNING & NEW players U10/W10 and older.
- Or any player whose photo is not in the PlayFootball system or is not of an acceptable standard/quality.
Photo requirements:
- Photos should be above shoulders only with full face shown.
- No caps or glasses (except your photo must show sports glasses if worn when playing).
- The photo needs to be JPG file type, under 1mb in size
- Photo may be cropped in rego system after upload

To help with team planning and allocations, please CLICK Team Preference box when registering and from the drop-down list, choose the age group you will be playing in for 2024. U8s (Boys/Mixed) or W8s (for all girl teams) - Returning Junior Players

This is particularly important for players who will be playing up a year* e.g. players born in 2010 will select U14s or W14, if you will be playing up a year you would select U15 or W15. * Selecting an age above your age group will not guarantee a place in that age group. - Returning Senior Players

Male & Female Players progressing to U10/W10 and ALL NEW players who are playing in U10/W10 and ABOVE age groups, must upload a CURRENT passport style photo to their profile. No hats or glasses to be worn. (Please have this ready before you commence your registration) - NEW PLAYERS
Please complete the on-line registration process, please note you will also need to show proof of age and proof of residency in the Sutherland Shire. Any player new to SSFA competition must provide both proof of date of birth and proof of Sutherland Shire residency. The following list of documents are the only acceptable form of proof accepted:Proof of Age:

NSW Photo Card issued by Service NSWProof of residency within the Sutherland Shire:

Recent document from a financial institution or government agency (e.g., bank or council rates)

Support our partner club, HFCA, in Cambodia – option to donate when registering online
BBFC have been partnering with HFCA since 2012, who exist to empower, inspire and positively impact underprivileged, homeless and impoverished young people from the streets of Cambodia, through the medium of football. Currently HFCA supports over 400 disadvantaged young people through its football programs in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. www.hfca.org.au
Rego Days
Details on registration days will be provided soon.
Returning players (or players transferring from another local club) do not need to attend a rego session.
New players (if not transferring from another local club) will need to attend a rego session with original, unaltered documents to prove their date of birth (birth certificate or passport) and proof they live in Sutherland Shire (eg rate notice or unaltered drivers license).
Need Help with Rego/ Uniform Fittings/ Cash Payments etc – Whilst we encourage everyone to complete the online registration process, if you get stuck or need further assistance, we can help you at one of our rego sessions.
Miniroos Gala Days
All kids will receive a free sausage sizzle after their session.
- Monday 5th February for U6/W6 to U9/W9
- Wednesday 7th, February for U10/W10 and U11/W11

The detail of 2024 fees:
- Late registration fees cover administration costs for processing of late registrations checking residency for new players, ID photos are relevant and uploaded correctly, ensuring you are allocated to the correct team, team coaches & managers questions. This all takes time before we can approve your registration in the system and why we need to register before 11 February.
- SSFA lock teams on 26th February and SSFA approval must be obtained when adding any additional players to an already registered team. Team grading commences by SSFA from this date, so it is important that all players are registered before this date. Players that register after this date may NOT be approved depending on their past grade playing level. To ensure you are placed in a team, please register BEFORE before 26th February. SSFA charges clubs a $50 admin fee for all late registrations
Did you know your registration fee covers the cost of:
Referees for games; Match fees, Equipment – training balls, match balls and all other equipment; Players/parents not required to volunteer to work in our club kiosk; Ground maintenance & line marking; Operating costs (electricity for clubhouse, ground lights, water, maintenance of our clubhouse); Specialised training & development provided throughout the season.
2024 SEASON DATES
- Teams must be completed and sent to SSFA for Grading by 23 February
- Round 1 of the 2024 season starts Saturday 6th April (after Easter break)
