QUICK INFO

Player Development

  • Technical Director MiniRoos – Jason Cuevas and his assistant coaches confirmed for Monday and Saturday mornings
  • Premier League pathway – Men’s premier league to attend junior training sessions
  • Goalkeeper training 5 sessions starting week 2 of the season and then another 5 sessions towards the end of the regular season.
    – give beginners an introduction to goalkeeping
    – give returning keepers additional sessions on top of their team training
    – second block will target keepers involved in finals and will also give the new keepers incentive to stay at it for next year.

Training & equipment

  • Team Training allocations communicated.
  • Lighting
    – If lights aren’t on for your allotted training slot, please contact your BBFC coordinator or a committee member.
    – If you are the last team training for the night, please text BBFC coordinator or a committee member when you have finished training to reduce electricity costs for the club.
    – Lights generally turn off automatically at 9:15pm.
  • Training
    When training at Lakewood, refrain from using 10’s / 11’s goals for training. We have portable full-size goals in the ground control room for use.
  • All goals must be packed away after training and games – major liability considerations.
  • Field preservation
    Refrain from training in goalmouths, complete shuttle runs outside the field of play
  • Wet weather
    Please monitor BBFC Facebook or contact 02 9710 0893 if you are unsure if grounds are open for training.
  • Equipment requirements
    Please communicate to coordinators.

Match Day

  • Coaches and managers duties- refer to page 41
    – Coach and manager must be nominated (can be same person)
    – Match sheets must be completed- fines apply
    – Nominated team official or manager vest must be worn at all times during games 
  • Ground control- refer to page 40
    – All teams participating in a competition match shall nominate one (1) person (who is a
    responsible adult) for additional Ground Control. This person is responsible for the behaviour of their own spectators and must cooperate with the Club Ground Controllers at all times and
    must wear an orange Ground Control jacket.
  • Wet Weather (Game Day) never assume games are off, please contact check posts on facebook and SSFA website.
